Wednesday, October 22, 2008 Stuff I had to get a new battery for my jeep, it was shot, found a date on the old one, 1995 wow long time for a battery. Had the brakes checked while we had it there, oh the joy, had to have new rotors cause those were warped. $225 for everything yeah cause I needed that right now ugh.Soccer is over thank goodness, last games were last Saturday. I am so glad cause this week has been so cold. I have been walking the bean field behind the house since they harvested it, up to 3 times a day. Not sure how far it is but its a good workout. I went to put on jeans for the first time this fall (normally wear sweats) anyway thought they were going to be tight as they normally are, well lovely shock to find they are too big, dug out a bigger size this morning after spending all day yesterday pulling the others up lol. Had parent teacher conferences, all went well. No complaints other than the girl wanting to speed through her work just so she can sit and read. Kids are officially on Fall break. No school tomorrow or Friday, I have shut the alarm clock off. I can SLEEP IN, yeah we will see if that really happens. KKMommy wrote @ 7:18 PM... ||

Thursday, October 16, 2008 WHY?!!! Here we go again....Why must we go through this every and I mean EVERY morning with her. The girl throws a fit every morning about her clothes, they are wrinkly, they are too tight, they are too short. Now see if it were me I would try on clothes the night before and make sure they fit but her, noooooo, she waits til the last minute to get dressed then has a meltdown and is in tears by the time she leaves the house for school. Monday, October 13, 2008 Jumped The Man just jumped me at the gas station.....In front of EVERYBODY........ He really got my motor runnin mmmmmmhhhhhmmmmm........ On the jeep people on the jeep, get your mind out of the gutter. My son had left the overhead lights on in the jeep running the battery completely down. We charged it, I took off for the library this morning it kind of stuttered starting up there then I thought okay gas prices down so went to get $15 of gas and couldn't go anywhere cause the jeep wouldn't turn over. Nice! So I called the man and interupted his golf game so he could come jump me ( I mean the jeep). ;) KKMommy wrote @ 12:30 PM... ||
Saturday, October 11, 2008 Reading Sorry I have had my nose stuck in a book most of the day and unable to put it down for very long. If you like mystery read The Killing Hour by Lisa Gardner. Wow this book took off in the prologue, which was the only thing I intended to read before I went to bed last night. I ended up reading 3 chapters after that before I made myself put it down to get some sleep but I have to say its the first thing I picked up when I woke.In other news the boy's soccer team lost their game, they seem to be going downhill as far as going after the ball. Might be loosing interest in the game I dunno but they only have two more games left. Also today the boy had basketball orientation, for Upward basketball. It starts in January. Dakota got in trouble today. I made the kids sausage sandwiches for lunch, went out to put the battery charger on the jeep (the boy left the dome light on and ran my battery deader than a frog) came back in time to catch Dakota getting ready to nab the girl's sandwich, so scolded her and made her spend some time in her crate. Ellie scared me a little bit ago, I went to the bedroom and called her, she was laying by the window, I called her three times, normally she gets up and comes the first time, well I kept calling and calling and I finally walked over, she must have heard me then and moved. For a minute I thought she was dead. My 4 legged kids are just like the 2 legged ones, they like to drive me nuts. :) KKMommy wrote @ 9:43 PM... ||
